'Now that the Americans are gone..' One-side Beef

Watching people and other countries post their "goodbye, we’ll miss you" TikToks, only to turn around and celebrate when the ban actually hit? It’s so two-faced and rude..like, fake as hell.

How can people act like they care one minute, all sentimental and sad, then clink their glasses and talk shit the next? Do they not realise this wasn’t just about an app? Real people with real communities have been affected (we got 90 days left). It’s not just losing silly videos; it’s losing connection, creativity, and a space that so many of us found comfort in.

Where’s the empathy? The humanity? It’s so hypocritical it makes my skin crawl. It’s okay to not like TikTok, fine, but celebrating its ban while pretending to care just shows their true colours. Their “goodbyes” were hollow, and honestly, that hurts more than anything else.

But you know what? Let them show who they are. They can say whatever they want. We’re still here, and we’ll rebuild a new app if need be down the line, in ways they can’t even imagine. Their fake energy just goes to show we will be living in their heads rent free. This isn’t the end, it's only the beginning.
