MSFS 2020 cockpit buttons

Hi All,

I hope I have the right area to post this. I am fairly new at MSFS 2020.

My questions: I have MSFS 2020 and using Xbox series X to run the program. I have purchased various aircraft and downloaded them all OK but, lots of buttons in the cockpits of most aircraft have an unresponsive indicator when I select them. Is this a normal thing or just that I am using the Xbox console instead of a computer? Is there a download that can fix this? your thoughts and advice appreciated.
