Starting in Coldharbour at the start of the game?

okay so I am doing my third playthrough and the other times you start in you alliance and have to talk with the hooded figure to start the main quest but this time I started in Coldharbour and instead of Lyris being there it's the prophet so did they change the starting area or is something else going on? I mean I don't mind I am just confused
