My partner and I got into hockey recently, and so far we're all about the Sharks. Can you help bring us up to speed?

I recently took my partner to see our local AHL team for the first time (Go Condors!) and ever since then we've found ourselves deep in the hockey sauce. So far, we're loving the Sharks, and we're even planning to come down to San Jose to check out a game sometime!

So, could you help us get up to speed? Any huge, franchise defining moments we should know about? Any players to look for? Any season highlights? We'd love to hear about it!
