Work limited capability.

Hi so after like 10 months of sick notes my mom finally been rewarded limited capability of work element but on the letter it doesn't say much how much she may gets , when if she can hope for some backdated payment could anyone explain the process please? I think there's like two stages of the element how to know which one she get
