Help, Sims 4 disappeared

My sims 4 app disappeared. Not knowing it was wrong, I moved my sims 4 folder to a desktop to easily transfer safari mods to it. I couldn’t find my original mods folder so I made a new one and added mods to it. When I opened my game, it did not work. After transferring it back, I copied the app into the folder, deleting the old folder, attempting to open the OG, then being disappointed I finally found the original sims folder and mods. However, my sim 4 app disappeared. No launching app is opening. Says unplayable or unsupported. All my content and seemingly necessary requirements are now in the OG folder in applications. I’m really worried. I was playing just a couple hours before.
