Am I right to ask for a raise?

I work in transportation and we run charter buses mostly motor coaches. When i started we had 1 motor coach I have grown the business to where we have 5 now and are looking to get the 6th.

I want to ask my employer for a raise. I have been employed since August 2022. I have had a base salary of $65k a year plus commission at 4% off gross sales since then. My department was 6 months old when I started with the guy I replaced being let go. I have steadily brought in business and grown my department since then with 2024 being a little over $1.5 million in sales, through RFP’s. We are on pace to have around $2 million in sales this year with the current inventory.

In 2024 I made $109k with commission. Am I right to asks and if so how should I go about it?
