NTS AND FAST ENTRY TEST

Hey im thinking of giving NTS as a backup for fast. But I have a confusion. If I give the fast entry exam and don't get the desired results, can I use my NTS(if my Marks are better than entry exams) AFTER giving the entry exams. Thankyou!
