Are Stego players just psychopaths?

Just spent the past 3 hours getting camped by a stego at south plains as a deino. Like 10 players on the server and he just sits here spearing all the elite fish out and dragging to land, all AI speared and dragged to land, all other dinos coming to drink killed by the stego so I cant eat them, swimming around to bait me, spam attacking non-stop whenever I am even remotely close to the shore. I was fine just living off fish, but seriously do these people have nothing better to do than grief others?
