6700 XT vs RTX 4070

So I have had a 6700 XT since 2021 and it's a beast but on Windows 11 I would get a lot of bugs and terrible fps dips. Marvel Rivals I would get 27fps while on the point. Shaders would take forever to install on games like COD and Fortnite. Like 20-30 minutes. Also on Arma Reforger driving trucks fps would drop to 15 all the time when my fps was normally 90. I have a 5600x with 32gbs of ram and a 2tb SSD. I recently upgraded to a 4070 and was planning on selling my 6700 XT but I got intrigued by Linux gaming and now I am having similar issues in games with the 4070 and I kinda wonder even though the 6700 XT is a downgrade would it work better on Cachyos? I installed Cachyos 2 weeks ago and did the Nvidia version and updated Nvidia drivers along with tried almost every proton version. Overall it's better than my 6700 XT and W11 experience but some games are acting weird.
