I have a 2010 Subaru Forester with an intermittent no crank no start issue.

It seems like if I leave the car parked for more than one day it doesn't turn on anymore. When I come back to the car, then when I turn the key, the dash lights stay luminated instead of going away for a second like they should while trying to start, I hear a clicking noise from the engine bay (was told this might be the activation of the starter solenoid), but the car does not engage the starter motor. It isn't a weak battery issue because I am able to resolve it by unplugging and reconnecting the battery, and then it cranks and starts up. I had an engine code for a crankshaft position sensor and I replaced it and the issue persists. How can I fix this?
