The Sacred Love
She lifted her hand beneath the moon’s soft glow, Yet struck my heart with arrows low.
I gasped, you’ve wounded me, have some care, Oh beauty so pure, beyond compare!
She asked, what is purity, what is grace? I said, a river flowing to its sacred place.
She asked, what is a river’s course? I said, a heart returning to its source.
She asked, what is a heart’s true way? I said, a seeker who kneels to pray.
She asked, what is prayer’s gentle art? I said, a whisper that never leaves the heart.
She asked, what is a whisper soft and deep? I said, the voice of love in the soul’s keep.
She asked, what is love that never dies? I said, a light that burns in faithful eyes.
She asked, what is light that guides so strong? I said, the call of truth, where we belong.
She asked, what is truth so vast and bright? I said, the name of God in endless light.
She asked, what is light, what is divine? I said, the path where love and faith align.
She asked, and what is love’s most sacred art? I said, to love with soul, not just the heart.
She asked, and what is love that’s truly blessed? I said, a prayer for you, in my final breath.
