My workmate turned over his Macbook to us, but he mistakenly gave the wrong Macbook password. He also forgot his Apple ID for recovery.

1️⃣ We tried so many password combinations, ended up in Authenticator page/Recovery Assistant asking for Apple ID

2️⃣ Nothing appears in the Startup disk page anymore, just keeps on loading

3️⃣ Apple ID password can’t be retrieved

4️⃣ Erase Mac option also requires an Apple Id

Any other way we could open the laptop again? Or go back to main/default log-in page because he seems to remember now the correct Macbook password.
