We need to psychologically break GOP lawmakers- Here’s how to do it
It’s well known by now that Russia has purposefully used disinformation and psychological warfare to create internal division within the United States, but we can also use the strategy against the Republicans.
For example, we should be mass calling Republican lawmakers, pretending to be their constituents and voters. Use the southern accent if you can do it believably. Then use the Bible against them. ChatGPT can give you specific Bible quotes that are relevant to certain lawmakers and positions they’ve taken in the past. We want to capture that southern Baptist, righteous anger energy. They’re afraid of their own voters.
We can also stoke existing divisions within the religious factions. The evangelicals are temporarily allied with the Catholics, but they have a deep distrust of one another. Call them and mention how RFK comes from democratic royalty and how he’s a Catholic that believes in stem cell research. Be like I don’t want the pope telling us what to do with my health.
Steve Bannon has also made it very clear that he’s not along for the Elon Musk ride that we’re all on, because of his positions on H1b visas, and the fact that he himself is an immigrant. So when you call them, you can also say something about a South African immigrant all up in our Social Security.
Edit: someone in the comments came up with a brilliant idea for women to call and pretend to be conservative church going married women to fight the SAVE act and to talk about how it’s punishing married women who are living by the traditional family values that their party is supposed to protect, and how if it passes the only women who will be able to vote, our man hating feminists and gays.
Edit 2: another idea from a commenter here!
Say you are terrified of the threat to our national security, that you're concerned Russia and China are behind this illegal seizure of our data and you don't want to be in bed with Communists. Say you voted for them because they promised not to defund the police but they've been firing the FBI and CIA. Tell them you were concerned when you saw the American flag flying at half mast during the illegal raid at the State Department. Tell them you're concerned about Nuclear War, but pronounce it Nu-cu-lar, that they're firing people in charge of it. Tell them you're not going to fly anymore because of the plane crashes. Tell them you're concerned about the forest fires and now we have less fire fighters from the forestry department. Tell them shame on them for taking away services for our veterans. (Personally I think that instead of shame we should frame it like they’re making a mistake one of the most common things that happens under fascist government is that the people who have subscribed to the ideology don’t believe that it’s being intentionally done to them they think that it it’s a mistake and we have to sound like them)
Republicans operate based off of identity, nationalism, and emotion. We need to use their own rhetoric against them. They are TERRIFIED of their own base as AOC has told us several of them are not okay with what’s happening, but are so scared to do anything. Let them face the monster they’ve created, if enough people start calling they won’t be able to tell which ones are real and which ones are the psy op.
I welcome other ideas on how we can stoke existing divides between the party. Such as corporate vs populist, catholic vs evangelical, libertarian vs far right, etc.
You can also do this to news organizations and leave comments on influencers pages pretending to be them, we’ve watched massive amounts of bots, influence conservative opinions we can do it too!
It’s also important to note that even if they’re beholden to money or power, they’re very aware that the first people to get the blame for the problems with their constituents is local and state government and we already see states like Louisiana begging Trump to spare them from his policies because they know it’s gonna affect them the most. The more he alienate his allies, the more likely they are a distance from him to save themselves.
If this starts gaining momentum and actually starts working, the next step is we push these ideas into actual conservative spaces because once they start believing it, they’ll do the rest of the work for us! Also don’t be shy to use Steve Bannon as your appeal to authority because he’s openly trashing Musk on his podcast and he’s a MAGA darling, name dropping him will give you more clout.
