I got accepted into three universities I applied for masters!!! & Need some advice

General Advice

These are the Universities I got accepted into:-

  1. NYU School of Professional Studies (SPS) – MS in Integrated Marketing

  2. University of Rochester – Simon Business School – MSc in Marketing Analytics and Insights

  3. Rutgers Business School – MSc in Marketing Analytics and Insights

I am currently inclined toward Simon Business School but want to ensure I evaluate all factors properly. Here are some key considerations:

STEM Designation: Both the programs at Simon and Rutgers are STEM-designated, which is beneficial for me as an international student. However, NYU SPS is not a STEM program.

Location & Job Market: NYU SPS is in New York City, offering excellent networking and job opportunities. Rutgers is in Newark, which is very close to NYC and is itself a developed city. Rochester, on the other hand, is a smaller city, meaning one would likely need to relocate to NYC, Boston, or Washington, D.C., for job opportunities.

Ranking & Reputation: Simon Business School has a stronger ranking for MS in Marketing compared to the other two. However, in terms of overall brand recognition, NYU stands out. That said, I have heard that NYU SPS may not hold the same value as NYU Stern.

Curriculum & Technical Focus: The program at NYU SPS is less technical compared to Simon and Rutgers. Given my interest in a more analytical and technical marketing approach, this is an important factor.

Program History & Credibility: The MSc in Marketing Analytics and Insights at Rutgers is a very new program, starting only in Fall 2025, so there is limited information available on its outcomes and credibility.

Cost: The tuition and overall costs for all three programs are quite similar.

I would appreciate any insights or guidance on how to best compare these programs or any additional parameters I should consider in making my decision. Any advice from those familiar with these programs or the industry would be extremely helpful.
