Did anyone else had this kind of scary dream as a kid involving "doppelgangers"?

This type of dream happened to me many times as a kid. Basically it was usually a scenario that I was home alone or with a friend because the rest of my family went shopping. It started with me waving at them at our balcony as they were leaving. Then I shut off the balcony and went inside. Suddenly I've heard someone else at home and it was usually my dad but he was talking really weirdly or I can't remember how this double always announced it's presence I think I even remember growling sometimes. It was very scary to me, that I have just waved at my parents leave and then hear one of them inside. Just the thought that it's something which just pretends to be them, I always started hiding but it kept walking around the house. It scared me so much always.

Sometimes it had kind of different setting. That it was nighttime and I was playing with my friend in a room alone in the house. Suddenly we heard from another room the voice of our family friend-neighbor. But again I knew that this isn't them and it was approaching us.

Anyone else had this?
