My dog is so jealous of my cat but I give my dog lots of attention. Advice?

My dog is a mini Aussie shepherd and she is almost 3 years old. We adopted a cat 3-4 months ago and gave our dog extra love and attention assuming jealousy would come into play.

We still give her lots of attention and pets but the second I turn my attention to the cat my dog gets so excited and jumps all over me as if I’m calling her over to me, or if the cat jumps in my lap while I’m sitting the dog will run up to me and try to jump in my lap scaring the cat off. It’s starting to bother me more as my dog started jumping on me while I’m in bed sleeping if the cat comes into bed.

I’ve tried giving them separate areas such as the dog has a bed and a crate, the cat has a cat tree and a little house. The dog eats in a separate area from the cat. I give them treats at the same time. I’ve tried telling my dog commands like stay and lay down which she knows but totally ignores if the cat has something to do with it.

Any advice?
