Accounting to Pharmacy

Currently a year into my accounting degree and considering a switch. I was thinking to switch over to Pharmacy as I've realised that I have always enjoyed science and math and a career in pharmacy would be more hands on which I enjoy. At the start I wasn't quite sure what to do and went with accounting. Has anyone or anyone you know made this switch? I was also wondering how the pay is like as I think they are quite similar but I've heard mixed opinions between each of these careers and how being a pharmacist in Australia is pretty awful in terms of the job and pay. I have also heard this about accounting.
