Are we already past the point of no return?

At first we were all worried about RTO. Then we were worried about keeping our jobs. It seems as of late we are worried about the end of democracy.

I know all of these worries were in the background at all times but as "doomsday" scenarios.

With each passing day our doomsday scenarios are becoming actual worries and then some actually happening.

At some point are we going to be sneaking over the Mexican border as refugees?

What is this country going to actually look like in 2026?

Nobody in a position to help us seems to care as they watch this unfold.
