Documentaries or books to educate new partner?

My oldest (5M) is autistic (verbal, 'high functioning') i am fairly new to it all besides having a pedagogical degree. So i have some experience with autistic kids and kids in general. My new partner (29M) does not. He is very sweet and patient with my son but told me he often does not know how to feel or respond to my sons meltdowns etc. He responds better to someone else educating him as when i do it it often comes off as me being a know it all so i wondered if there are any resources out there, preferably movies, shows or documentaries to educate him?
