Short distance hauling of not too expensive stuff

So lets say I am running Abyssals in a system a few jumps off a trading hub, would it be stupid to just the haul stuff back with values of 800m to 2b in a simple Badger without Shield or anything? Or is that careless?

I have not been ganked at a gate or after an abyssal yet.

Do people hire a hauling service for this kind or amount already or how does one go about it? Same if I wanted to bring supplies like Filaments, Drones, Missiles, Boosters, MTUs to my Abyss system.

Additional question: If you had a deep safe spot in a quiet 0.6 system. Would you risk running T6s in it and becoming suspect and then docking while being suspect? Can I still dock while being attacked? I assume I can survive the few seconds vs one or two attackers in a T6 fit.
