job hunting is the most deflating, discouraging and dehumanising experience

every time I try to look for a job on LinkedIn or on every job board I'm at least aware of, I am convinced that most of these listings are there but they secretly already have someone lined up.

the forms also don't make fucking sense, making me fill up information that is already on my CV that they asked me to send through in the first place?

more often than not, I would at the very least make it to the initial interview but then I'd be promptly ghosted afterwards or get a rejection email several weeks later to say they hired someone else.

I'm also working casually making minimum wage at a warehouse to temporarily make ends meet until I find something permanent, so taking the morning or afternoon off to attend interviews means I lose out on some money just to be rejected in the end.

I live in perhaps one of the most expensive cities in the world and minimum wage at a dead-end job just won't cut it, but unfortunately I'm often so tired at the end of the day that I won't even have the energy to even browse for any job listings, let alone submit a job application!
