Looking for an Old School Dungeon Crawler
Hi!
I've played some of the classics: Wizardry, Might and Magic, Ultima Underworld... and some of the contemporary: Islands of the Caliph, Cyclopean... There are a lot of good dungeon crawlers out there. But also there are so many that playing all of them looking for somethin specific can be very time consuming, that's why I'm here.
I'm looking for a Dungeon Crawler that is:
- Old School or feel Old School (e.g. Wizardry 7 and Grimoire: Heralds of the Winged Exemplar);
- Medium/Fast-paced (e.g. Daggerfall);
- With deep dungeons (e.g. Daggerfall again);* [Obs.: It can be just one enourmous dungeon]
- First person (single characters or blobber);*
- Preferably turn-based (e.g. Might and Magic V);
- Not excruciatingly punishing (e.g. The dungeon having safe havens to recover all my stats in peace);
- Fantasy setting.*
- Map.*
The structure of topics is more to organize the post, not all of them need to be present in the recommendations (except those with *). But what I want is to delve into a deep dungeon and just be there, looking for treasures, finding the bottom of it, being surprised by content.
What I would love to is like a First Person NetHack. Deep, marvelous dungeon, lots of enemies. Maybe not too harsh.
Ok, I'm gonna stop otherwise I'll be writing here till tomorrow.
Thank you all in advance!
TL;DR: old school first person fantasy dungeon crawler with big dungeons and integrated map.
