Do I need to get a licence for my on characters in my own virtual band?

Hello, I created some characters a long time ago, I have never released any comic, pictire, video or song using them before, mainly because I was under age, now I have been working on more drawings and music, I have some vídeos ready too, but im afraid to release It because Im afraid that some company might take them away fromme, I will be using TuneCorenfor my music, Idk if that would protect the characters or if that only protects my music, what can I do?
