I think Peacemaker should regain his memories. I view this state as Darkstalker being healed of his own madness through experiencing a normal life, through his experiences as Peacemaker he can redeem himself.

I fail to see why Hope is 100% okay with it. I firmly believe Clearsight would be against making the enchantment permanent, and most importantly Darkstalker might has good in him that's worth the risk. Ego death is no different than just death if its irreversible.

Clearsight's prophecies are factual,but she sees all at once,way too many possibilities, Whiteout's are more about emotional states and spiritual stuff. Maybe "losing the future" means losing himself. Considering Whiteout briefly experienced a major personality alteration and waking up from it resulted in a prophecy this looks like a hint for me.

When Whiteout was freed she "won back" her future. Darkstalker lost his to the enchanted strawberry.

From Chameleon's spells we know that a dragon may be enchanted to have a different personality, lose/gain powers, but the true self is there and most likely in a state of distress or suffering. Peacemaker is Darkstalker's golden cage or chance at redemption depending on what Tui chooses. I vouch for proper redemption
