Main ID missing in car - unable to add BMW ID from phone

So I have a BMW i4 M50, and I rebooted the car (pressing volume button down for 30 seconds) - not the main ID has gone. Despite my profile being in my BMW app and scanning the QR code in the car…it hasn’t transferred. The app says it’s been done and says to check the profile has “arrived” at the BMW but the profile still hasn’t transferred. What am I doing wrong? I’ve walked away from the car to allow it some time to calm down…oh wait, that was me.
