I (19M) want to get back with my ex (20F)

I (19M) want to date my ex (20F) again. We split up a couple of years ago as my sports career was on a decline and I needed to turn my focus to that. I also made the mistake of cheating on her while we were together. She found out about it after we broke up as I wasn’t man enough to tell her back then. We had a lot of similarities ,bonded over many things and had a really good thing going. We have both been in a relationship since so she may have moved on entirely. But I never really have. Those feelings never really went away and I still sort of love her. We’re both attending a mutual friend’s party in a week or so and I’m quite nervous about seeing her. Could I get some help ? If I could get any advice on how to go about talking to her ,and what I might say ,that would be very helpful. Thanks :)
