Anna and Merlin being strange

I've searched the sub but I can't seem to find any info on this one. Since the last star path started, Anna and Merlin have just been chilling in Remys restaurant. I don't see them around the village anymore, they're just always there. Makes it super handy to find them but I'm just curious as to why 😂 Every time I go in they're just wandering around, not even sat down to order. Is this a glitch or is Remy hiring? 😂
