Playing [KCD1], what quests are a must?

I'm playing the first game I sort of want to speedrun into the second one. So the question is, what quests and/or quest lines are a must play for lore and character growth. I know I am already gonna do all that include Hans as he seems to be a big part of the second one. But what else?
