Nobody's Soldier is The Perfect Summary of What Military Draft is Like

I live in Israel, and am facing compulsory military service. Military prisons here have a particularly unpleasant reputation, and it's either that or join a genocide. Nobody's Soldier moves me immensely whenever I hear it, succinctly describes everything I see and feel with a rawness and up-front honesty that shocks me how applicable it is to the situation of conscientious objectors here. It has been so immensely strengthening to have everything I feel packaged and surmised so perfectly, that I can listen to as an pillar. Hozier is such an amazing writer.
