Likelihood of Fentanyl in crystal MDMA?

Friend has some crystal MDMA. Color/texture looks right. I don’t know if he’s had it tested. His assumption is that crystal form MDMA is less likely to have Fentanyl compared to pressed pills, citing Fentanyl being a powder, but I’m still not feeling convinced. Is there any merit to what he is saying?
