Halo Top makes my throat feel kinda burn and feel scratchy. Is it dangerous for me to keep eating it?

question

I looked it up and I’m probably somewhat allergic to Erythritol. It’s not a common reaction but I’m not the only one who’s experienced it. After a few spoonfuls it feels like I’ve eaten something hot or spicy. I ate a whole pint of chocolate caramel brownie a couple weeks ago and afterwards my throat was so scratchy I thought I got sick. That was it though I was fine and it went away a couple hours later. I got chocolate chip cookie dough this time and same experience (I only ate a bit so far). I like to treat myself to ice cream once or twice a month so I was like legit in heaven trying this stuff since it’s healthier but tastes good. I tried keto pint once and threw up because it tasted so bad so I was excited to find halo (I’d heard of it but didn’t know much about it).

Now I’m feeling kinda bummed because there could be some risk consuming this stuff (I also don’t really want to go to a doctor so forgive me for asking here). Is there a tasty alternative to this stuff that doesn’t have erythritol? Or am I in the safe zone continuing to consume halo top? I don’t want to cause myself anaphylaxis over ice cream that’s so stupid lol. I’m assuming if I was okay consuming a whole pint once I’d be fine again but idk if anyone has experienced a bad reaction later on. Sorry this was written a lot better originally but I accidentally deleted my whole paragraph Reddit needs an undo feature 🥲
