how do I clean dust/keep dust out of my room?

so, for some context, dust builds up after i wipe down my desks/shelves within a day or two. dust is also very apparent on my old items that i do not use (books, old toys, trophies, etc.).

for some context, i have my fan running pretty much every second. i do not have any pets. i keep my room pretty clean.
so, is there anything i can do that you would recommend? thanks!
