Question… kind of a long post in

Urgent Help Needed

2013 I enlisted (Marine Corps), 2023 I exited due to my child being born with special needs.

2013: Dislocated my shoulder in ITB and was threatened to be kicked out with 0 benefits (took a re-class to MT)

2015: chemical burn after having 20/20 vision and severe vision decrease (diagnosed)

2018: had 3 surgeries on I&I duty (1. Bilateral hydrocelectomy, 2. Right inguinal hernia repair, 3. Left inguinal hernia repair)

2019: continuous pain in my lower abdomen set it as it never really left following the last 3 surgeries.

2020: somehow some way get IBS after a deployment to the Middle East (diagnosed with severe IBS), start passing blood 3-4 times every few months which has continued up to this point (multiple colonoscopies, multiple times informed that I’ve got sever internal hemorrhoids)

2021: had 2 more surgeries to correct the previous surgeries (1. bilateral vericocelectomy, 2. Bilateral surgical denervation).

2023: I discharge after filing BDD, and I’m granted 20% combined.

  • 10% tinitus
  • 10% lumbosacral strain (didn’t even claim)

What I claimed and results (SC meaning service connected:

  • Tinitus (10% SC)
  • Hydrocele surgery scars (0% SC)
  • internal Hemorrhoids (0% SC)
  • IBS (0% SC)
  • left ear hearing loss (0% SC)
  • migraines (0% SC)
  • hernias (0% SC)
  • Surgical scars (painful) (0% SC)
  • varicocele/hydrocele w/ ED (0% SC)
  • damaged vision/eyesight (0% denied service connection)
  • left shoulder pain (0% denied service connection)

Fast forward to 2024:

Claimed major depression and was granted 30% for a combined rating of 40%.

Filed an appeal, appeal denied for depression.

December 6, 2024: filed for increases and new claims following diagnosis)

  • IBS (Increase)
  • left ear hearing loss (increase)
  • migraines (increase)
  • Lumbosacral strain (increase)
  • PTSD (new)
  • Rhinits (new)
  • sinusitis (new)
  • left shoulder (supplemental claim)

In the process of filing this claim - I find out that the VA didn’t receive any certified STR’s u til December 3rd of 2024… meaning they did not see any of my past medical records until this new claim…

What am I doing wrong, and how do I fix this… 20% originally for 5 surgeries, messed up shoulder, passing blood more than women have periods, and that’s what I got?! Please help guide me in the right direction.. I’ve utilized external services for assistance and have had no success..

Thank you all.
