Anyone given up on being identified as white?

I am now just an American, 4th generation Polish, Scandinavian and Irish.

I’ve been married to my strong passionate self identified BW 7 years. It just gets harder every year if I were to identify as white.

News saying all kinds of bs, white people this, white people that.. I don’t even watch the news. I feel bad for people that identify as black. If I identified as black I would feel unsafe around white people if I watched media.

This is absolutely privileged to say this, but isn’t race the root of racism?
