Sea Prism Weapons

Have you ever wondered why it’s never occurred to the marines to have Vegapunk fully equip all their troops with sea prism stone weapons ? Like I’d assume after consistently getting their asses handed to them by devil fruit users someone would think to themselves why don’t we have sea prism bullets and swords ? I mean I guess you could make the argument that it would mess up the plot but then again there’s the Red Hair Pirates as an example of a complete crew with 0 devil fruit powers who are vulnerable to weapons that’s survived and made it to the top.
