Feel as if I'm the one that mostly spends MY money on essentials, rent and bills.

I spend all my money on essentials and the person I'm with spends a lot on themselves than im left with more the less nothing and he spends until the money is more the less gone so anything we might need i have to make sure i have the money or we'd be sol. Anyone else have this problem?
