Why are men in many Muslim countries extremely homophonic and yet hold hands with men?

Why do men from many Muslim majority countries astrocize and even execute homosexuals and then hold hands with other men, even kissing them on the lips? Isn't that a walking contradiction..Note I'm not being racist Islam isn't a race they come in all races and ethnicities
