Cat burned whiskers

Yall im trying so hard not to cry right now. I was trying to open the flame to make me noodle at 2 AM and my cat was following me around and he got up on the counter. I was opening the flame when it started he was sniffing the pan and I didn’t realize it was so hot and big he burned his whiskers and a little bit of his chin hairs:( I’m trying to wake everyone up crying about it he’s eating and he’s acting fine. I picked him and up and hugged he was purring so idk is he ok?
