Red Riding Hood

Just finished watching it. It was pretty nice. It didn't have any amazing writing, nor did it have any amazing music/scenes. But the vibe/theme was amazing. Really liked the actors as well as the characters. It did give me a that book hangover feeling (in a good way). Might've been affected by the fact that I watched it at a good time and environment. Room was dark, it had rained, it was quiet, it was early morning as well as a bit cold, and I was feeling tired. Everyone was sleeping as well. Great environment, and I was feeling pretty good.

Still remember seeing this movie on TV years ago. I don't remember exactly what year it was (2021-2023), nor what channel I watched it on. I do remember it being the evening when I watched, and that I really liked the vibe. It's like when I sometimes walk past the TV at night, and my mom is there, not watching but sitting in a corner doing her own thing (usually talking on the phone), and I watch whatever was on the TV, thinking i'd only be there for 5 mins, but ending up there for a whole hour :).

The parts I remember of the story were that her dad was a wolf, as well as her boyfriend being something. Wasn't sure of the details though, since I only saw the latter part (as well as being years ago). Remember really liking the main actress (Amanda Seyfried), and that I loved the vibe. I usually love movies with this type of vibe (medieval/dark fantasy), and the werewolf theme was a plus. The reason I decided to watch it now is because I've wanted to watch it for a few months, ever since we read about the red riding hood in a swedish lesson. Remember finding out about it in one of the articles speaking about the red riding hood, and being reminded of the movie in it. Decided to watch it now because I was bored, as well as wanted to watch something rather than just listening to footy.

Really nice watch though. Was engaged throughout and wasn't distracted once. Felt good at the end as well. Liked the movie throughout, all though I believed it could've had better writing. Really liked the characters (especially Valerie, she looks as good as when I saw her a few years ago). The vibe was great as well. Music could've been better, but I didn't miss it, I simply wasn't attached to it. Overall I'd give it a solid 8.1/10.
