Difference between a gaming and productivity pc build.

Discussion

I’ve been searching for the difference between a gaming PC and a productivity PC build, but most tutorials on youtube focus on gaming. There are workstation build tutorials, but many things still seem unclear. I only know for a fact that a productivity PC needs more RAM for multitasking. I mostly work with 3D modeling and animation, sometimes use DaVinci Resolve, Unreal Engine and After Effects, and do a bit of casual gaming (which is not a factor)

My questions: - Does storage speed matter a lot? I have heard that faster storage is important. How much it is true for my work?

Is 32GB RAM enough? Will it be fine for Blender and other demanding programs?

Does the GPU play a big role during modeling? I know GPU is needed for rendering, but what about when actively working on a project? Does modeling use the GPU or CPU more?

Mid-range CPU and GPU choices? If I am going for a mid-range budget, what are the best CPU and GPU options for 3D modeling and animation?

If anything I have missed please also tell me about that.
