AIO? FEEL LIKE I'M WASTING MY TIME IN SALES

As the title States, I work in sales. Specifically retail store sales for a cell phone company. Dan and day out for the last 2 weeks since starting this job I've been at stores where I'm consistently being told no over and over again by customers. Most of the time immediately after greeting them and asking how their day is. But my colleague seeing that will walk up to them do the same exact thing same exact manner inflection everything. And wind up making a sale with them... At first I just chalked it up to me being new. But I'm starting to question everything, is it just me, is there something off putting about me? I'm genuinely one of the most friendly people you could ever meet and people treat me like I'm a leper when I'm trying to make a sale and save them some money in the process.

It's to the point that even though I'm about to lose my house I'm still just considering quitting at this point because I feel like I'm just wasting my time. Maybe I'm overreacting, maybe I'm just thinking too much into it. All I know is I'm horrifically confused and demoralized at this point in time. because even the new people that have just started in the field in the last couple days have already made considerably more sales than me.
