Too fast, too soon?
So I recently got a huge PC upgrade because my old potato of a computer was getting too old and slow to play Counter-Strike 2 with minimum settings, the game lagged, crashed and had high ping, which got me numerous comp bans for failing to reconnect in time because the game completely froze my computer.
These were my old specs:
CPU - Intel I5-6400
GPU - GTX 1060-6GB
RAM - 8GB
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 1TB (No SSD)
Monitor - 60hz 1080p
My new specs:
CPU - Ryzen 7 3700X
GPU - RX 7800-XT
RAM - 16
SSD - Kingston 1TB (No HDD)
Monitor - 144hz 1440p
Now the game runs smoothly with high graphics at 144 FPS, but It almost feels like It's running too smoothly, the game feels way faster, my sens feels weird, and I find myself missing/overshooting shots I would hit with my laggy PC, maybe switching from playing with 50~ FPS to 144 Is too much, too fast? Is this something other people have experienced and If so, will I get used to It?
Also, while I was playing 2v2 with some friends i noticed that while there was low ping and high FPS there was exeptionally high net jitter, something I never experinced on my old PC, I have not struggled with it on Valves servers, and It's most likely because either my friends or my Internet Is too slow, but I though I would ask about it anyway, thanks in advance to anyone who answers and please excuse my bad english.
