M4F I lead a rebellion against the queen, but now I’m her prisoner

Oh how far I have fallen, a predictable fall, but nonetheless more embarrassing for me.

The Queens rise to power was a fate she had controlled. Originally married to the king as a peace treaty between a neighbouring nation, she seemed like your average royal wife, constantly dressed in riches most couldn't dream of, looking down on those beneath her and staying in her husband's shadow. That was until the king was murdered in his palace, the killer was never found.

Then, as if it happened over night the kingdom changed. Councils were forced to bend to her will or be destroyed. Us peasants were worked to their max. People of position who the king had appointed as trusty allies were accused of treason and executed. The biggest change was the land advances, the Queen happened to be a ruthless warlord who took what she wanted, and she wanted a lot.

I am a peasant who led an uprising to stad against the queen. The rebellion lasted longer than expected, but the outcome was still the same.

So there I stand, in chains surrounded by royal guards, before the Queen on her stolen throne.
