Tips for gardening in Florida

Hello! I'm an avid gardener moving down from the Midwest. Does anyone have any tips for gardening in Florida? What grows well? What time of year do you start planting? Do you grow year round? I'm used to planting as once the ground thaws and pulling and tilling everything before the first frost. I know there is going to be a bit of learning curve with being in such a different zone.
