Do Air Fresheners affect air quality? - Winix 5500-2

I just installed it a few moments ago and after that startup process, it went to red for a while, then amber, then blue. Its a 10’x14’ room and I have a wall plug-in, I’m wondering if that affects air quality.

Also, is there a way to turn the lights on the front off?
