Starting HRT this week!

Hey all!

Pre-everything transfemme here. With the help of a friend, I've made an appointment with an informed consent clinic near me. I have an online appointment scheduled, and plan on getting my first batch of estrodial and t blocker the same day. I've been feeling a bit anxious as the date gets closer, so I wanted to reach out and ask for any last-minute pieces of advice y'all can offer. Whether that be in the form of resources, what you'd've done differently starting out, really anything.

For background, I'm a 23-year-old from California. I've wanted to transition since around the end of middle school, though I didn't really have the language for what I was back then. In high school, I figured out I was trans but was too scared to do anything about it. After reconnecting with an old friend who transitioned, I've finally decided that the longer I wait, the more I'll regret it. I've done a fair amount of research, but I know there's no such thing as "too educated," so I want to hopefully alleviate some stress by arming myself with extra knowledge. Excited to hear from y'all!
