“Routed” questions

So im playing my first campaign starting with the Next Evolution box.

The card “Routed” states “discard each minion that shares a title with the top villain of the villain deck”

So does this mean if the minion with the same name is in okay I discard it and if I draw the minion from the encounter deck do I also discard it and surge?
