"I can't go back further into the past? Why does it have to be during the time when a dude named Laguna is Esthar's president and not further back in the past? This machine s*cks."

"I can't send my conciousness to other people? Only sorceresses? My only choice is a woman named Edea and Adel? Guess I'll choose Edea cause the other dude Adel is apparently stuck in outer space... I have to say, the JME is not as good as advertised."

"Now that I'm in the past, I've learned lots of things, like the person that was based of the JME is here! A woman named Ellone. I must find her."

"While inside Edea's conciousness, I learned that in the future I die, and I made this woman my successor. Woops. Better not let that happen amirite?"

"Can't get Ellone and she also has her limits. Since she doesn't know me, she can't send my conciousness further into the past. And I got my ass kicked by Edea's orphans. I hate this."

"If Edea perishes without her finding a successor, I'm stuck with just Adel as my only link to the past. Guess i'll make this black haired girl who uses dogs as cannons to be my successor. What's the worse that can happen amirite?"

"Used this Rinoa girl as my ticket to release Adel. This Adel one is powerful; might as well use him/her/they/them to start time compression."

"Oh for f*cks sake the orphans beat me again!? Back to Rinoa I guess... maybe i can do a bit of damage control..." (biggest mistake of my life)

"So i got my ass kicked in the future because they ended up having a link to my timeline (with the help of Ellone) after I returned to Rinoa. But... what If i use that same link to go back in the past and make a successor there? Maybe somthing will change...?"

"Oh it's Edea. Oh i get it now."

I could not sleep in 3 in the morning so I made this. I played FF8 five years ago but reddit keeps pulling me back to this game, and the memories of it.
