Is the default investment portfolio for young people with no upcoming purchases just 100% equities (VWRA)?

Investing

Starting my investment journey and i see that the starting guide on the subreddit wiki recommends the 3 fund portfolio of Local Stock Market Index Fund + International Stock Market Index Fund + Bond Fund.

However the general sentiment i see here is that for young people with no upcoming purchases (bto, reno, wedding etc), 100% VWRA is the default. From what I understand, bonds/t-bills are still recommended for short-term returns when there are upcoming purchases or when approaching retirement to avoid the volatility of equities but Local Stock Market Index Fund like STI ETF is entirely omitted due to lower growth.

So I just want to clarify, for someone starting their investment journey with a long term horizon (>20 years) and no upcoming heavy purchases, is the default investment portfolio just 100% VWRA which is equities?
